Episode 15 is for story telling. And I’m joined by my friends, Bill, Josh, Austin and Trevor to share memories and make a few plans.
This is the final episode for season one of the Troutbitten Podcast. And at the tail end of this busy year, it’s a great time for reflections and resolutions.
My friends and I share a few lighthearted stories about the dumbest things we’ve ever done on the river. We also share who and what we miss most from years past. And lastly, we talk about what we want to change most about our fishing lives.
It’s a great discussion that’s both introspective and humorous. It’s also the perfect way to wrap up season one of the Troutbitten Podcast.
We Cover the Following
- Dom’s snorkeling debacle
- Josh and Austin, sleeping with the wolf spiders
- Austin’s humble brag on the Blackfoot River
- Bill’s finger problems
- Trevor’s costly fall in
- What each of us misses most
- What each of us plans to change for the coming season

Regarding plans for 2022; might you consider a Troutbitten Road Trip with follow up podcast? The Delaware River in PA is teeming with wild browns and bows. Stretching those wings and testing those proven methods could be a fun ride for all of us.
Hi Rick,
Are you funding the trip? 🙂 Just kidding.
Each of us on the podcast has spread our wings and fished our favorite tactics in every corner of PA and beyond. Four of us are in the stage of life (some of us with young kids) where road tripping isn’t in the cards very often — especially five of us a once! Ha. It’s a nice thought, but not a reality-based option.
Cheers.
Dom
Brilliant final episode of an epic series of podcasts! If you do start developing a Troutbitten-brand camera-carrying system, I’d look quite closely at the old William Joseph magnetic closure systems which now seem to have resurfaced in a couple of places: pretty similar clamshell-shaped Badlands chest packs, as well as one or two Fishpond waist packs. I’m currently carrying a small DSLR in an old WJ Amp chest pack: clean lines, waterproof seal, instant access… if you’ve ever used this system, you’ll know what I mean when I say that anything with zips feels like going back to the Dark Ages.
Anyhow, keep up the great work, Dom and team…
