Riverside . . . is a place for sharing some of the latest articles from Troutbitten and streamside thoughts. It’s a casual approach in my studio, with modest production, so the time commitment is far less than what I put into each video in the Fish and Film series.
Through the years, I’ve fielded many requests for this kind of video — basically a reading of Troutbitten articles. I’ve always liked the idea, but I wanted to do a little more with it. Dominick, thank you to you and the rest of the gang for all the great content! If you cut the first 20” off the butt section of a store bought extruded leader and replaced it with 20” of 15# Maxima Chameleon would it provide the same advantages as the Harvey Leader? I think I know the answer. Go try it and see if it works. Thanks again for all you do. Love the on the water videos. Please keep it coming.a
Nah, wouldn’t even be close. I don’t mean to be argumentative, but the taper of the Harvey is very different than almost all store bought leaders.
Cheers.
